-Make- up is a number of cosmetic products that are used to improve the appearance. Make-up is said to give people confidence and make them feel better about themselves. Examples of make-up include foundation, mascara etc.      

  

-Egyptians were the first people to wear make-up and it is also believed that the Greeks and the Romans did this to by using all natural ingredients, which shows make-up has been around for thousands of years. It became fashionable in the 20th century for ballets.

  Foundation comes from the far east along with blusher but its hard to know which country exactly, mascara comes from America, nail varnish comes from Egypt and eye liner comes originally from Saudi Arabia. Max Factor was the first make-up brand ever!
